Just this Wednesday, Jr NTR officially started dubbing for the film. A video of his arrival at the dubbing studio has been circulating on social media, offering fans a sneak peek at the actor stepping into this eagerly awaited role.

‘War 2’ is directed by Ayan Mukerji, celebrated for his works like ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ and ‘Brahmāstra’. This marks Mukerji’s first venture in the YRF Spy Universe and his initial collaboration with Hrithik Roshan. The film promises fierce rivalry between Jr NTR and Hrithik, featuring thrilling confrontations and electrifying action sequences.

Kiara Advani stars as the female lead, expected to infuse both charm and depth into the narrative.

Earlier this May, the creators released a teaser for ‘War 2’, which sent fans into a frenzy. The teaser opens with an intense voiceover: “Meri nazar kabse tujh pe hai Kabir… India’s best soldier… R&AW ka best agent tu tha ab tu nahi… tu mujhe nahi janta… Get ready for War.” This enigmatic voice seems to be pursuing Kabir, suggesting deep-seated rivalry and personal vendettas.

Viewers also get a glimpse of sizzling chemistry between Hrithik and Kiara, who made a striking impression with her bold bikini look.

The original ‘War’, released in 2019, was a massive box office success featuring Hrithik Roshan, Tiger Shroff, and Vaani Kapoor. Directed by Siddharth Anand, it shattered records, grossing over ₹200 crores within its first week and became one of the year’s biggest hits.

‘War 2’ is the sixth installment in the growing YRF Spy Universe, a franchise known for delivering blockbusters such as ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, ‘War’, ‘Pathaan’, and ‘Tiger 3’.

‘War 2’ is set for a grand global release on August 14, 2025.
