Jackson Wang Unleashes Fiery New Single ‘GBAD’ – A Celebration of Self-Liberation
Setting boundaries can be tough, a theme Jackson elegantly transforms into art. The lyrics of ‘GBAD’ are unfiltered, showcasing his embrace of personal strength, even if that means stepping into the role of the “bad guy” in someone else’s narrative. It’s raw and genuine, which is why his fans are so drawn to him.
Produced by the innovative Grammy winner Dem Jointz, ‘GBAD’ fuses alternative R&B with smooth jazz-infused beats, allowing Jackson’s distinctive vocals to shine bright. However, the music is just one aspect of the experience—the music video, directed by Rich Lee, elevates the entire package.
Check out the music video for ‘GBAD’ now!
Imagine a picturesque town where Jackson’s ‘Magic Man’ persona is consistently called upon to be the hero, yet remains unnoticed, undervalued, and fatigued. Sound relatable? The dreamlike visuals poignantly illustrate the emotional weight of being the ‘go-to’ person, making the music video as impactful as the song itself.
This is only the tip of the iceberg. Last month, Jackson lit up the music scene with ‘High Alone’, giving fans an early glimpse of ‘Magic Man 2’. This track soared to the top of Apple Music charts in 22 countries and set the stage for what promises to be his most introspective album to date, delving into themes of grief, self-destruction, and the journey to self-liberation.
Divided into four distinct chapters, ‘Magic Man 2’ lays bare Jackson’s emotional voyage—shedding masks and revealing his raw truth. If ‘GBAD’ is any indication, we can expect a profound, soul-searching exploration.
Beyond his music, Jackson has become an influential icon, boasting over 100 million followers on social media. He is a major cultural force, taking on roles as Creative Director for Nike and Jordan, while also serving as an ambassador for luxury brands like Louis Vuitton, Cartier, and Hennessy.

BBK12: During a recent episode of Bigg Boss Kannada Season 12 (BBK 12), host Kiccha Sudeep strongly questioned contestant Rakshitha Shetty over her growing closeness with fellow contestants Gilli and Raghu.
Addressing Rakshitha, Sudeep remarked that her behaviour appeared jealous when Gilli and Raghu interacted closely with others. Sudeep said that such attachments could disturb the peace of the BBK house and reminded her that the Bigg Boss house does not belong to any individual contestant.
The host further posed a direct question to Rakshitha, asking who should win among the trio—Gilli, Raghu, and Rakshitha. In response, Rakshitha confidently stated that she herself should be the winner.
Reacting to her answer, Sudeep reminded her that all relationships formed inside the Bigg Boss house, whether like brotherhood or sisterhood, are temporary. He said that once the doors of the house open, everyone has to leave, and no one stays there forever.
