India’s Got Latent Controversy: Comedian Harsh Gujral Removes All Escape Room Videos
For those unfamiliar with the situation, Ranveer Allahbadia has come under fire for making inappropriate comments during Samay Raina’s show, ‘India’s Got Latent.’ The episode featured content creator Apoorva Makhija, known as ‘Rebel Kid,’ and their remarks have sparked significant outrage, leading to multiple police complaints. Notably, Allahbadia directed an inappropriate question to a contestant related to body parts and suggested an indecent act in exchange for 2 crores, which prompted public outcry.
In response to the backlash, Allahbadia released a public apology, admitting that comedy is not his strong suit. He stated, “I shouldn’t have said what I said on India’s Got Latent. I’m sorry—my comment was inappropriate and not even funny. Comedy isn’t my forte, and I realize this isn’t how I want to use my platform. I’m offering no excuses; I’m just here to apologize.”
Multiple FIRs have been filed against the influencer, leading Allahbadia to approach the Supreme Court to dismiss these complaints. The court granted him interim protection against arrest and stated that no further FIRs would be registered based on the episode of ‘India’s Got Latent.’ Moreover, the court has prohibited him and his affiliates from posting content on YouTube or other audiovisual platforms until further orders.
In the meantime, the cyber cell of the Maharashtra Police has summoned Allahbadia to join the ongoing investigation on February 24. Earlier, the Mumbai and Guwahati police released a joint statement indicating that Allahbadia had been “continuously out of contact with investigative agencies.” His name appears in FIRs lodged by the Maharashtra Cyber Department, Guwahati Police, and Jaipur Police concerning the ‘India’s Got Latent’ incident.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay retained the Perambur constituency after winning from two seats in the Assembly election and resigned from the Tiruchchi East seat.
Reports now suggest that popular actor, director, and choreographer Raghava Lawrence may contest the upcoming by-election from Tiruchchi East on behalf of Vijay’s TVK party. The news has been widely discussed on social media.
Raghava Lawrence is known for his charitable work and support for differently-abled people, orphaned children, and senior citizens. His strong public image is seen as an advantage if he enters the race.
Earlier, rumours claimed that actress Trisha Krishnan would contest from the constituency, but those reports were later dismissed.

The by-election for Tiruchchi East has not yet been announced, and there has been no official confirmation regarding the party’s candidate. However, reports indicate that Vijay may choose a close associate to contest from the seat.
Film : Kannada star actor Duniya Vijay is set to appear in the upcoming Telugu film Slum Dog. The movie stars Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role and is directed by Puri Jagannadh.
The film has already created a positive buzz in the Telugu film industry. Reports suggest that Duniya Vijay will be seen in a unique and important role.
The makers have announced that the first teaser of Slum Dog will be released on June 8. They also shared a new poster featuring Vijay Sethupathi holding a blood-stained weapon.
The film is said to be based on life in a slum and revolves around a beggar mafia story. Earlier, the team released a poster of Duniya Vijay in a colorful outfit and hat, creating curiosity about his character.
