Devotees Allege Mismanagement at Kottiyoor Temple

Thiruvananthapuram: Several devotees from Karnataka have expressed anger over the arrangements at the Kottiyoor Temple festival in Kerala. They have alleged poor management and rude behavior by temple staff and security personnel.

Devotees claimed they had to wait for 8 to 10 hours for darshan. Long queues stretching up to 5 to 6 kilometers were reported. Some visitors felt unwell due to the long wait, while others returned without having darshan.
