Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Krrish 4’ Encounters Financial Challenges
According to a recent report from Bollywood Hungama, production on the film is facing delays due to the estimated budget of around Rs 700 crores. An insider stated, “Krrish 4 requires an approximate budget of Rs 700 crores, but no studio is willing to invest such a significant amount due to the associated risks.” Previously, Hrithik had sought assistance from his friend Siddharth Anand, who was originally tasked with finding a studio, having previously collaborated with him on YRF’s ‘War.’ However, other sources close to the project have dismissed the inflated budget claims as “completely untrue.” Rakesh Roshan has also indicated that fans can anticipate an official update on ‘Krrish 4’ by the year’s end.
Meanwhile, the report mentions that Siddharth Anand and his production company, Marflix, will no longer be involved with the project. It was revealed that Hrithik and Rakesh Roshan recently held a private meeting where they opted to take a more hands-on approach, planning to reach out directly to studios for better production deals. Notably, FilmKraft, the Roshan family’s production banner, will co-produce the film.
Furthermore, there are indications that director Karan Malhotra will no longer be attached to ‘Krrish 4.’ The source noted, “With Sid stepping away, Karan will also exit the project. A completely new team will come on board to reassess the budget before the film proceeds to production. Things should improve for Hrithik following the release of War 2, assuming it achieves significant success.”
The superhero franchise began with the 2003 film ‘Koi Mil Gaya,’ which starred Hrithik Roshan and Preity Zinta. This was followed by ‘Krrish’ in 2006, which featured Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra. The third film, ‘Krrish 3,’ included Kangana Ranaut alongside Hrithik and Priyanka.

Akshay Kumar Responds to ‘Flop Actor’ Remark in Welcome to The Jungle
Mumbai: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has responded to being called a “flop actor” in the upcoming film Welcome to The Jungle. He said the dialogue should be understood as part of the movie and not taken personally.
Speaking at the trailer launch event in Mumbai, Akshay explained that such dialogues are written to suit the story and the character. He said audiences should view them in the context of the film.
“We are not told to use such dialogues as taunts. When you watch a movie, you should understand it according to the character and the story. Thank you for feeling bad about it, but please do not take it so seriously,” Akshay said.
The trailer of Welcome To The Jungle runs for more than four minutes and features a mix of comedy, action, and adventure. Unlike the earlier films in the franchise, the story is set in a jungle.
Akshay plays a struggling actor who is trying to revive his career after a series of unsuccessful films. His fortunes appear to improve when he gets a new film opposite a successful actress, played by Jacqueline Fernandez.
However, the film shoot turns into a real-life adventure when the crew reaches a village near the border. The villagers mistakenly believe the actors are soldiers and ask them to protect the village from a dangerous gang led by Jackie Shroff.
