Hina Khan Describes Her Umrah Experience as a ‘Dream Come True’

Actress Hina Khan has successfully completed another Umrah during the blessed month of Ramadan. She expressed that, considering her physical limitations following surgery, her visit to Mecca felt like a dream come true.

Hina emphasized that when God wishes for someone to visit His house, the universe aligns to make it happen.

In a heartfelt post on her Instagram, Hina reflected on her Umrah experience, writing: “I never imagined I would be here just three and a half months post-surgery. I have numerous sutures, limited physical strength, and expected fatigue during my recovery. There were many reasons I could have accepted for not coming here, and I was initially very sad, coming to terms with the thought that it might not happen… But when God wants you to visit His house, the universe responds. It was His will that I touched the Holy Kaaba. Fellow Muslims will understand how challenging it is to achieve this, particularly during the month of Ramadan.”

Hina also noted that this has been the most crowded Umrah experience for her to date. “I had to navigate my way to the Kaaba Sharif through a sea of people, but I made it! He empowered me to do so! As always, I feel immensely loved and humbled. My faith in Him nourishes my soul. Thank you, Allah; I am forever grateful. May Allah accept my prayers and grant me complete healing. Ameen,” she expressed.

Hina advised others to always heed their doctors’ advice, acknowledging that everyone’s journey and body are unique. “I urge everyone to listen to their bodies and follow what your doctors recommend. I don’t intend to create a one-size-fits-all approach to recovery; I’m simply sharing my experiences in the hope that they inspire you to find what works best for you with a dash of hope. Remember, it’s not ‘one size fits all’… Alhamdulillah… DUA,” she concluded.
