“Hidden Love” Spin-Off “The First Frost” Now Streaming on Netflix
This drama is based on a Chinese novel of the same name. Sang Yan and Wen Yifan once shared a meaningful bond, but circumstances forced Yifan to turn away from her feelings for Yan. Years later, their paths cross again, leading them to live together under one roof. As they each confront their own personal struggles, reigniting their past connection proves to be a challenging endeavor. Yifan contends with the trauma of a prior assault, while Yan wrestles with feelings of regret. Their intricate relationship, filled with vulnerability and emotional weight, significantly enriches the storyline.
Bai Jingting takes on the role of Sang Yan, bringing his experience from previous popular dramas such as ‘Rush to the Dead Summer’ and ‘My Dear Lady.’ Zhang Ruonan portrays Wen Yifan, Sang Yan’s love interest, known for her performances in ‘The Youth of the Great Nation’ and ‘Cinderella Chef.’
Though Sang Yan made his first appearance in ‘Hidden Love,’ ‘The First Frost’ is not a direct continuation of that story. The spin-off consists of a total of 32 episodes, each approximately 45 minutes long. New episodes are expected to release on Youku every Tuesday, with subsequent availability on Netflix the following day.

Reports now suggest that popular actor, director, and choreographer Raghava Lawrence may contest the upcoming by-election from Tiruchchi East on behalf of Vijay’s TVK party. The news has been widely discussed on social media.
Raghava Lawrence is known for his charitable work and support for differently-abled people, orphaned children, and senior citizens. His strong public image is seen as an advantage if he enters the race.
Earlier, rumours claimed that actress Trisha Krishnan would contest from the constituency, but those reports were later dismissed.

The by-election for Tiruchchi East has not yet been announced, and there has been no official confirmation regarding the party’s candidate. However, reports indicate that Vijay may choose a close associate to contest from the seat.
Film : Kannada star actor Duniya Vijay is set to appear in the upcoming Telugu film Slum Dog. The movie stars Vijay Sethupathi in the lead role and is directed by Puri Jagannadh.
The film has already created a positive buzz in the Telugu film industry. Reports suggest that Duniya Vijay will be seen in a unique and important role.
The makers have announced that the first teaser of Slum Dog will be released on June 8. They also shared a new poster featuring Vijay Sethupathi holding a blood-stained weapon.
The film is said to be based on life in a slum and revolves around a beggar mafia story. Earlier, the team released a poster of Duniya Vijay in a colorful outfit and hat, creating curiosity about his character.

Film: Kannada actor and filmmaker Rakshit Shetty celebrated his birthday on June 6 with fans and film personalities showering him with wishes on social media.
