Hollywood icon Harrison Ford will no longer be part of the glamorous presenter lineup for this year’s Academy Awards. The ‘Indiana Jones’ star had to withdraw unexpectedly after being diagnosed with shingles on Friday, as reported by Variety.
Shingles is a viral infection that, while not life-threatening, can lead to significant discomfort. According to the Mayo Clinic, this condition manifests as a painful rash, typically appearing as a band of blisters along one side of the torso. Although it isn’t contagious, it can be particularly debilitating for older adults.

Even in his absence, the Oscars will feature an outstanding lineup of presenters at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Newly confirmed presenters include Miles Teller and Miley Cyrus, as announced by the Academy on Friday.
