He returns with a new look in ‘Gamerlog,’ a web series that plunges into the exhilarating and emotional realm of Indian e-sports. Directed by Arya Deo and produced by Abhinay Deo and Neeta Shah, ‘Gamerlog’ explores the intricate emotional and social dynamics of young dreamers within one of India’s rapidly expanding industries: online gaming.

The recently released trailer by Amazon MX Player offers a sneak peek into a universe where passion meets pixels. Darsheel stars as Raghu, alias “Maverick,” a quiet yet incredibly skilled gamer hailing from a small town. He leaves behind an unsatisfying life and disapproving parents to pursue his dreams in Mumbai, the heart of India’s e-sports revolution.

Upon arriving in the city, Raghu discovers his community: Team Gamerlog. This eclectic group is led by the pragmatic Joanna (played by Anjali Sivaraman), and features teammates Lalit, Jaggi, Saurabh, and Mahesh, each bringing their unique traits and backgrounds.

Together they navigate challenges, setbacks, and shared aspirations, all aiming for the ultimate prize: the “Tournament of Champions,” India’s premier e-sports competition. However, the series promises more than just gaming triumphs.
