Four Youth Killed as Car Rams Into Tractor Loaded With Sugarcane
Bagalkote: A tragic accident claimed the lives of four young men when their car crashed into a tractor loaded with sugarcane near Siddapur village in Jamkhandi taluk, Bagalkote district.
The deceased have been identified as Vishwanath (17), Praveen (22), Ganesh (20) and Prajwal (17).
According to reports, the four friends were travelling late at night from Siddapur to attend the Shirole Kadasiddeshwara temple fair. A tractor carrying sugarcane was parked near a sugar factory close to Siddapur. The speeding car reportedly went out of control and rammed into the rear of the stationary tractor.

The impact was so strong that the front portion of the car was pushed inside the tractor. All four occupants died on the spot.
Police from the Jamkhandi Rural Station visited the location and conducted an inspection. The bodies were later shifted for further procedures.

Aunt and Young Man Found Dead by Suicide
Kalaburagi: A 32-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man were found hanging from the same tree on the outskirts of Sankanoor village in Chittapur taluk of Kalaburagi district.
The deceased have been identified as Sharanamma, 32, from Chittapur town, and Basavaraj, 21, from Bachwar village in Yadgir district.
According to preliminary information, the two had reportedly been in a relationship for several years. Police suspect that they may have taken the extreme step after their families opposed their relationship.

The two are believed to have died two to three days ago. Their bodies were found in a decomposed condition in a hilly area.
Police visited the spot and conducted an inspection. A case has been registered at the Chittapur Police Station, and further investigation is underway.
