Filming for Megastar Chiranjeevi’s #Mega157 Resumes in Mussoorie

The highly anticipated second schedule of director Anil Ravipudi’s commercial comedy, starring megastar Chiranjeevi, commenced in Mussoorie on Wednesday. This film, currently titled #Mega157, is produced by Sahu Garapati and Sushmita Konidela under the banners of Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainments.

Sources indicate that the new filming phase will take place over ten days in the picturesque hill station, where key and entertaining scenes are set to be shot. Alongside Chiranjeevi, the cast includes Nayanthara, VTV Ganesh, and others, marking Nayanthara’s third collaboration with the megastar following ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ and ‘Godfather’.

The team recently completed its first schedule in Hyderabad, and initial footage reportedly showcases impressive visuals, highlighting Chiranjeevi’s comedic flair reminiscent of his iconic performances from the 1990s and 2000s.

A recent teaser features Chiranjeevi sitting at a school table, enthusiastically giving a thumbs-up as children approach him. Anil Ravipudi, known for his recent blockbuster ‘Sankranthiki Vasthunam’, is at the helm of this project.

The musical score is being composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, with cinematography by Sameer Reddy. Editing is handled by Tammiraju, while A S Prakash serves as the art director. The storyline has been co-written by S Krishna and G Adi Narayana, with S Krishna also acting as the executive producer. The film is set for release during Sankranti 2026.
