“Fermat no Ryori” Anime Series Set to Debut in July

“Fermat no Ryori” (Fermat’s Cooking), the anticipated new TV anime based on the cooking manga by Yugo Kobayashi (known for “Aoashi”), has announced its premiere date. To build excitement ahead of its launch, the creators have released an enticing teaser trailer and a vibrant new poster for the series. Set to begin airing in July 2025, “Fermat no Ryori” will be available for streaming in Japan on Saturdays as part of TV Asahi’s “IMAnimation” programming block. Details regarding international releases have yet to be revealed.

“Fermat no Ryori” is a Japanese manga series authored and illustrated by Yūgo Kobayashi. It has been serialized in Kodansha’s shōnen manga magazine since September 2018. Following its success in print, a television drama adaptation aired from October to December 2023, paving the way for the upcoming anime adaptation.

Ahead of the teaser’s release, the production team unveiled two key cast members. Ryosuke Tomita, known for his role as Sota Higure in “Sasaki and Miyano,” will voice Gaku Kitada, a young boy who dreams of becoming a mathematician but often feels overshadowed by true geniuses. As he faces obstacles in his journey, Gaku decides to explore new paths. Taito Ban, recognized as Amane Fujimiya in “The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten,” is cast as Kai Asakura, an enthusiastic chef who runs a one-star restaurant called K at just 23 years old.

The manga chronicles the story of Gaku Kitada, a gifted mathematics student, who finds himself partnered with Kai Asakura, a young yet equally skilled chef. As Gaku’s aspirations to become a top mathematician are met with difficulties, he encounters Kai, who is busy running his own culinary venture. Together, they embark on an exploration of fresh endeavors.

The trend has become popular among people looking for simple and natural skincare methods. Supporters claim that banana peel can make the skin look smoother, softer and temporarily tighter.

Adah Sharma recently tried the hack and shared her experience with her followers on Instagram. In her humorous video, she called banana peel the “cheapest alternative to Botox” and showed how it is applied to the face.

“This is Banana Botox. Pick up a banana peel and stick it on your face with respect,” Sharma said jokingly.

She also made several humorous comments while trying the beauty hack. The actress said the method was inspired by another video and mentioned that it recommended using the hack every day for three weeks.

Mangaluru: The trailer of the upcoming Kannada film ‘Amartha’ was released at a grand event ahead of its theatrical release on September 18.

The film is directed by Guru Hegde and Vinay Preetham and is produced by Dr. Kanyana Sadashiva Shetty and Guru Hegde under the Pancharangi Films banner.

Entrepreneur Prakash Shetty and actor Darling Krishna unveiled the trailer and wished the entire team success. Actor Shivadhwaj was also present as a special guest.

‘Amartha’ is presented as a complete family entertainer. The film explores beautiful memories from childhood and college life that are part of everyone’s journey. The makers have woven these experiences into an engaging story.
