Diljit Dosanjh Manages This Illness with a Clever Technique

Punjabi sensation Diljit Dosanjh has been generating waves with his global Dil-Luminati Tour and is now sharing insights on managing everyday stress.

On Wednesday, the actor-singer posted a video on his Instagram, where he offered advice on how to alleviate tension in life. In the clip, he humorously addresses various individuals struggling with stress, using the slogan, “Tension mitra nun hai nahi” (Tension is not a friend).

In his caption, he asked, “Tension, ye Bimari Kis Kis Ko Hai?” (Tension – Who suffers from this ailment?), inviting his followers to reflect on their own experiences.

One part of the video features Diljit lightly mocking government advisories related to his performances, especially in contrast to international artists who face no such restrictions. This seemed to be a subtle nod to the recently held Coldplay concerts in India.

Earlier, Diljit unveiled the first look of his forthcoming film ‘Punjab ’95’ on Instagram, sharing several images of himself in character. He captioned it, “I Challenge the Darkness. Punjab 95.”

The film tells the story of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra, a bank director in Amritsar during a tumultuous period marked by militancy. Following significant events such as Operation Blue Star, the assassination of Indira Gandhi, and the 1984 Anti-Sikh Riots, police were granted authority to detain individuals under suspicion, often leading to extrajudicial killings in staged encounters.

Khalra was investigating several prominent cases, tirelessly gathering evidence and testimonies from witnesses. The film’s makers faced challenges with the Central Board of Film Certification, which initially suggested 120 cuts due to its sensitive subject matter, casting doubt on its release. However, with Diljit’s growing popularity and increased international attention, there is renewed optimism for the film’s debut.

In other news, Diljit recently met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the national capital, where they discussed various topics, and he even performed a song for the PM.
