The creators of ‘Metro… In Dino’ are sparing no effort to create excitement for the film, particularly through its music. Following the recent release of the heartfelt track ‘Zamaana Lage,’ the team has unveiled a new song called ‘Dil Ka Kya.’

Performed by Raghav Chaitanya and composed by Pritam, the track beautifully merges contemporary sounds with nostalgic themes. The lyrics, crafted by Anurag Sharma, explore the intricate emotions of love, heartbreak, and the bittersweet nuances in between.

‘Dil Ka Kya’ poignantly illustrates love’s fragility, weaving together the stories of four couples as they navigate their relationships amid the hustle of urban life. The emotional depth of the song resonates with listeners, and the film’s creators believe the music will leave an indelible impression.

Directed by Anurag Basu, ‘Metro… In Dino’ boasts a stellar cast, featuring talents such as Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Ali Fazal, Neena Gupta, and Saswata Chatterjee. It is positioned as a spiritual successor to Basu’s beloved 2007 film ‘Life in a… Metro,’ with Konkona Sen Sharma being the only returning member from the original cast.

Filming was particularly emotional for her, as she often thought of her late co-star and dear friend Irrfan Khan, who passed away in 2020. At a recent promotional event in Mumbai, Anurag Basu shared a poignant moment when Konkona unexpectedly broke down during a scene reminiscent of their previous collaboration. “We were filming a scene with a tone similar to the first film, and suddenly, Konkona started crying. I worry she might get emotional if it gets brought up,” Basu recounted. He also paid tribute to the late singer KK, known for his iconic tracks like ‘Alvida’ and ‘O Meri Jaan’ in the original soundtrack. “We miss him deeply. Many collaborators from that time are no longer with us,” he reflected.

Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Anurag Basu, and Taani Basu under the banners of Gulshan Kumar & T-Series and Anurag Basu Productions, ‘Metro… In Dino’ is set to premiere in theaters on July 4.
