Celebrated television star Devoleena Bhattacharjee and her husband, Shanwaz Shaikh, recently marked their son’s Annaprashan ceremony.

The joyous event saw the presence of Devoleena’s ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’ co-stars, Vishal Singh and Bhavini Purohit, along with other family members, all captured in the celebration photos.

In a heartfelt caption, the couple expressed, “With hands folded and hearts full of gratitude, we celebrated our beloved son Joy’s first sacred taste of Anna (rice). May Maa Annapurna bless him with health, wisdom, and a life filled with abundance. This is a beautiful milestone and a memory we will cherish forever…”

Devoleena and Shanwaz welcomed their first child on December 18, 2024. They shared their joyful announcement on social media, stating, “We are thrilled to introduce our baby boy. 18.12.2024. Elated parents, Devoleena & Shanwaz.”

The couple tied the knot on December 14, 2022, in an intimate ceremony.

Recently, Devoleena spoke about how her role as Gopi in ‘Saath Nibhaana Saathiya’ influenced her spiritual journey. She revealed that portraying a devotee of Lord Krishna led to a profound awakening in her life.

Reflecting on her experience, she shared, “Looking back, it’s hard to believe the show completed 15 years; it feels like just yesterday. I still get butterflies thinking about it. It was a transformative experience—I took over from someone else and faced numerous challenges, but it was rewarding to win the hearts of viewers and become a beloved Gopi Bahu. I’m grateful for the love and support. Although the show has concluded, Gopi Bahu remains immortal thanks to the audiences.”

The “Bigg Boss 14” contestant noted, “The show was more than just success; it sparked my spiritual journey. Portraying Gopi allowed me to connect deeply with Lord Krishna. Initially a devotional role, it became a genuine experience. I began reading about Shri Krishna, embarking on a new path of devotion that continues to this day.”
