During the ceremony, Jain Muni Prasanna Sagar Ji Maharaj commended Yoga Guru Swami Ramdev and Acharya Balkrishna for their selfless contributions to humanity’s health, societal prosperity, and global harmony. He praised their dedication to Yoga and Ayurveda.

Uddhav and Raj Thackeray Expected to Begin Alliance Discussions Soon, Asserts Sanjay Raut

Published

on

On Thursday, Sanjay Raut, a Rajya Sabha MP from the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena, announced that direct discussions between Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray, chief of the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), regarding a potential political alliance, are set to begin soon, although he did not provide a specific timeline.

“The two leaders will make a decision shortly. The talks will commence soon, and either one might take the lead. They are both prominent political figures and brothers. Direct discussions will take place, and we will share more details at the right moment,” Raut stated when asked about political realignments ahead of the upcoming local civic and municipal elections in Maharashtra.

Raut added that Raj Thackeray has expressed his intent to ally with Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena, to which Uddhav has responded positively. “Discussions should happen between the two leaders. Raj Thackeray has taken an important step, and Uddhav Thackeray has also shown a favorable inclination. Uddhav has made it clear that Raj’s sentiments must be respected,” Raut emphasized.

He further noted that any potential alliance would not get stuck in a cycle of proposals. “The alliance between the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena and Raj Thackeray-led MNS will not be mired in a back-and-forth of proposals. Anyone believing this would be a mere exchange of offers is mistaken.”

In related news, Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena MLA Anil Parab commented, “We are positive about an alliance with Raj Thackeray’s MNS and have conveyed this to him. The decision now lies with Raj Thackeray.”

“The Marathi community wishes to see both Thackeray brothers unite, and both are inclined to do so. Uddhav has already stated that he is open to discussions. They will meet soon to deliberate and outline the next steps,” Parab mentioned, avoiding any mention of specific dates.

“We (the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena) are prepared to proceed according to the decisions made by both parties’ leadership. As elections approach, the leaders will reach a conclusion. I am a junior leader; the final decision rests with them,” Parab stated.

“Ultimately, it is Raj Thackeray’s choice to join us, as Uddhav has indicated a willingness to set aside differences. Therefore, an agreement on a Shiv Sena-MNS alliance is likely to be finalized soon,” he concluded.
