Denise Richards Reveals Hollywood Harassment and Her Disturbing Past Trauma

Reflecting on her formative years in the entertainment industry, Richards expressed how the fear of losing opportunities kept her silent. “I was told I would be blacklisted,” she explained. “I felt incredibly vulnerable. This was the career I had always dreamed of, and being told I’d never work again if I spoke up was terrifying.”
Richards’ insights draw a stark comparison between her past and the present, particularly in light of the #MeToo movement. “I’m glad that women today have a louder voice and better protections,” she stated. “If I were to face something like that now, I would approach it differently. But back then, I was young and just starting out.”
Becoming a mother has significantly influenced her perspective. Richards is the mother of three daughters—Sami, 20, Lola, 19, and Eloise, 13—and witnessing their growth has empowered her. “I see my daughters becoming such strong women. If I had that level of support, I think I would have dealt with things differently,” she reflected.
Denise has also been candid about her past traumas, including a frightening road rage incident in November 2022, where a gunman fired shots at a truck driven by her husband, Aaron Phypers. Recalling that harrowing experience, she admitted, “I was so scared. I froze. I literally sat on the floor and lost control.”
During a recent appearance on ‘Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test’, Richards shared another deeply personal story about being sexually assaulted as a teenager. “I was 15 when it first happened to me,” she recounted. “A man followed me, grabbed me from behind, and covered my mouth. I couldn’t even scream for help. I just froze.”
Speaking about her journey towards overcoming fear, she emphasized her commitment to growing from these painful experiences. “I’m determined to learn how to not be overwhelmed by fear. I’ve encountered trauma, and I want to emerge stronger from it.”

Record-Breaking Animated Film ‘Ne Zha 2’ Set to Release in India This Week

Warner Bros. Studios made the announcement about the Indian release via Instagram, featuring the film’s poster and stating, “The epic battle of dragons, immortals, and humans. Will Ne Zha prevail? Experience the world’s number one animated movie – Ne Zha 2, in theaters from April 25.” The film is being distributed in India by Encore Films and Warner Bros. Discovery, under Jiaozi’s direction.
Since its debut, ‘Ne Zha 2’ has successfully shattered box office records, earning a staggering $2 billion worldwide, predominantly from domestic sales. This accomplishment marks it as the highest-grossing film ever within a single market and places it as the fifth-biggest film of all time, trailing only behind ‘Titanic’ ($2.2 billion). Other films that outpace it include ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’ ($2.3 billion), ‘Avengers: Endgame’ ($2.7 billion), and ‘Avatar’ ($2.9 billion). Additionally, ‘Ne Zha 2’ ranks as the sixth largest IMAX release in history.
Continuing the legacy of the 2019 hit, ‘Ne Zha 2’ follows a young hero endowed with magical powers and embarks on a captivating adventure inspired by Xu Zhonglin’s 16th-century novel ‘Investiture of the Gods.’ Rooted in Chinese mythology, the film invites audiences into a vivid, intricately animated world. Even those unfamiliar with the original film can easily grasp the storyline, as the sequel provides a swift recap of previous events.

Jewel Thief”: Kunal Kapoor Playfully Labels Co-Star Saif Ali Khan a “Pain

In an interview with **Filmygyan**, the cast shared their experiences working together. Kunal Kapoor humorously described his time on set, joking that Saif was a “pain” to work with. While the rest of the cast expressed their enjoyment of the filming process, Kunal felt a bit differently. “I felt lonely, as my character is on the chase and not with them in the film. They had fun together while I was off on my own,” he explained.
Kunal also recounted his working relationship with Saif: “He is indeed a pain! It was challenging because he often didn’t show up on time, and when he did, he wasn’t familiar with his lines. This meant we had to wait for him to get ready for each take.” The cast shared a laugh about it, noting that with Saif’s limited presence on social media, he might never catch wind of Kunal’s jests.
Directed by **Kookie Gulati** and **Robbie Grewal**, **‘Jewel Thief’** is produced by **Siddharth Anand** and **Mamta Anand** under Marflix Pictures. The film’s synopsis from Netflix teases: “A crime lord hires a master thief to steal the world’s most elusive diamond—the African Red Sun.
