Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film narrates the epic tale of Rani Padmavati, played by Deepika Padukone, and her fierce stand against the invader Alauddin Khilji, portrayed by Ranveer Singh. As the film prepares for a grand re-release in theaters on February 6, 2025, fans are reminiscing about one of its standout moments: Deepika Padukone’s remarkable performance in the song “Ghoomar.”

This elaborate dance sequence features Deepika as Rani Padmavati, showcasing the traditional Rajasthani ‘ghoomar’ dance and quickly became a sensation.
