Dancing Robots in China Leave Viewers Stunned, Video Goes Viral on Social Media
A new viral video from China has taken the internet by storm, featuring robots performing a traditional Chinese dance in perfect synchronization. The video, shared widely on social media, has left viewers amazed at the level of precision and lifelike movement exhibited by the robots.
The robots were part of a performance during China’s Spring Festival Gala, where they showcased the traditional “Yangge” dance, typically performed by humans. What set this performance apart was the robots’ ability to mimic human-like movements with remarkable accuracy, leaving audiences in awe. The robots’ dance steps were so lifelike that it was hard to believe they were not human performers.
This video, shared on social media platform X by a user named @pkray11, quickly gained attention, with the caption reading, “The grandest celebration of China’s New Year is known for its spectacular events, but this year, the robots have taken the spotlight with their incredible dance moves.” The video has already been viewed thousands of times, sparking discussions about the growing capabilities of robotics and artificial intelligence (AI).
The Rise of AI and Its Implications
This is not the first time AI and robotics have made headlines. Earlier, the launch of China’s DeepSeek chatbot, which surpassed even ChatGPT in popularity on the Apple App Store, highlighted the increasing influence of AI in daily life. While AI has made many tasks easier, it has also raised concerns about its potential misuse.
The dancing robots add to the growing trend of AI-powered technology influencing various sectors, from entertainment to labor. However, experts also warn that such advancements could lead to challenges in the future, including ethical dilemmas and the risk of automation replacing human jobs.
As this video continues to spread across the internet, it serves as a reminder of the rapid pace at which technology is advancing, sparking both excitement and unease about what the future holds.

Chinese Woman Turns Gaming Into Online Fame
China: A 60-year-old woman from southern China has become a popular gaming live-streamer after taking up video games to understand her son’s addiction.

Zhong Juanjuan, known online as “Auntie Juan,” began playing computer games in 2020. Her son, Suode, taught her how to play after she became curious about the games he spent hours playing.
Gaming was once a family problem for Zhong. Around two decades ago, her son became addicted to games while in secondary school, which affected his studies. She often visited internet cafes to bring him home.
At first, Zhong struggled with the controls because of poor eyesight and slower reactions. However, she continued practising and gradually improved.

14-Year-Old UK Boy Stabs Girl After She Rejects His Date Request
Bristol: A 14-year-old boy from Wiltshire stabbed a girl several times inside a shop in Cirencester, Gloucestershire, after she rejected his request for a date, according to police and court proceedings.

The teenager had asked the girl out in December 2025, but she turned him down. He later allegedly contacted her through fake social media accounts after becoming obsessed with her.
On March 15, the boy reportedly waited near a shop in Cirencester before following the girl inside. He was carrying a knife hidden in the pocket of his jeans.
CCTV footage showed the teenager approaching the girl and suddenly pulling out the knife. He grabbed her and stabbed her several times as she tried to escape.
The shopkeeper stepped in and attempted to stop the attack. The boy then stabbed the shopkeeper in the back before continuing to chase the girl inside the shop.
The girl eventually managed to escape and raised the alarm at a nearby property. She suffered cuts and injuries to her neck, face and hands, along with bruising on her back.
Police were called to Upper Churnside in Cirencester at around 11:15 am after receiving reports of a stabbing. Officers found the teenager nearby shortly afterwards and arrested him. A knife was recovered from his jeans pocket.
The teenager later admitted charges including wounding with intent, causing grievous bodily harm and possessing a bladed article in a public place.
In a statement read in court, the girl described the emotional impact of the attack. She said she had suffered nightmares and continued to relive the incident in her dreams.
She also said she struggled to sleep and often felt that someone was present in her room when she woke up. The girl said she now felt nervous when she was outside and often flinched when someone moved their hand near her.

She told the court that the incident had affected her ability to trust people. She also said she was being dropped off at work because she did not want to travel alone.
A detective praised the shopkeeper for intervening during the attack. CCTV footage showed the staff member running towards the entrance and opening the door, giving the girl an opportunity to escape.
The teenager appeared at Bristol Crown Court on Monday, September 21. He was given a one-year referral order at Gloucester Crown Court.
The judge also expressed surprise that the teenager had spent three months in custody, saying that while the offences were serious, this appeared unusual for a youth case.

Woman Gets Rs 24 Lakh for Tree Damage to view Lake
Latest news: A Canadian woman has been awarded Rs 24 lakh ($35,000) after six neighbours cut trees on her property without proper permission.

Jacalyn Hays took the matter to the Provincial Court of British Columbia. She accused the neighbours of cutting and trimming trees to get a better view of Shuswap Lake.
Hays had earlier given limited permission to trim some small saplings. She said the trees had to be less than three inches in diameter and had to be left at a certain height.
However, Hays later found that several trees had been cut beyond the agreed limits. Some saplings were more than three inches in diameter, while others had been cut down to ground level.
She also found branches and other tree debris left on her property. Hays and her son spent several hours clearing the waste.
One of the defendants, Alan Fenton, later said he believed they had permission to cut back the trees as they wished.
A recorded conversation between Hays and Fenton in August 2023 was also presented in court. Fenton accepted responsibility for what had happened. The judge allowed the recording to be used as evidence.
