Comedian Pranit More has recounted a harrowing experience of being physically assaulted following his stand-up performance in Solapur on February 2, 2025. The incident took place shortly after he finished his set at 24K Kraft Brewzz, where he was interacting with fans for selfies.

As the crowd began to disperse, a group of approximately 11-12 men, who initially approached him as fans, inexplicably turned violent and began to punch and kick him instead of requesting photos.

According to reports, the attack was allegedly motivated by jokes More had made about Bollywood actor Veer Pahariya, who had recently made his film debut. One of the assailants ominously warned, “Agli Baar Veer Pahariya baba pe joke maarke dikha!”

In response, Veer Pahariya took to Instagram to express his shock and dismay over the incident. He categorically denied any association with the attack and condemned the violent behavior.

Pahariya, who has also faced his share of trolling, noted that he prefers to handle criticism with humor and kindness. He emphasized, “I would never encourage or support harm towards anyone, especially someone within the same creative community.” He further vowed to ensure that those responsible for the attack would be held accountable and expressed his sincere apologies to Pranit and his fans, voicing deep regret for what occurred.

The comedian’s ordeal has sparked concerns about the security measures at the venue, as 24K Kraft Brewzz allegedly failed to provide essential CCTV footage that could aid in identifying the attackers. Moreover, despite reaching out to the police for assistance, Pranit stated that they did not follow through with the promised support.
