Directed by Laxman Utekar, the film aims to capture the brave and storied reign of Sambhaji Maharaj, starting from his coronation in 1681.

During a promotional event in Jaipur, Vicky discussed the significant effort that goes into embodying such a monumental figure.

“A biopic necessitates thorough preparation, not only from the actor but also from the entire team,” he stated. “The challenge intensifies with a historical theme, especially given the larger budget and the responsibility of recreating a different era on screen. We have put in tremendous effort to ensure authenticity.”

Vicky’s preparation encompassed both physical conditioning and mental training. He explained that along with enhancing his physique, he participated in rigorous action training and delved into the history of the Maratha Empire.
“It was essential to have a profound understanding of the time period and connect with the legacy of such a formidable ruler,” he remarked.

The actor expressed his emotional bond with the role, noting that he had learned about Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj through his history classes.
