Car Crashes Into Mosque Hall Wall Near Asaigoli, All Passengers Safe
Ullal: A car lost control and crashed into the wall of a mosque hall near Thiblepadu, close to Asaigoli, late last night.
The accident occurred when the car was travelling from Konaje towards Deralakatte. The driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle. The car then plunged nearly 10 feet down and hit the wall of the mosque hall building before overturning.

Despite the severity of the crash, all passengers in the car escaped without any serious injuries. They were lucky to survive the accident without loss of life.
The Mangaluru South Traffic Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.

Migrant Worker Dies after Iron Bucket Falls During Well Digging Work
Ullal: A tragic accident occurred in Kutharu, Salat Nagar, during a well digging work on Friday evening. A migrant worker lost his life after a heavy iron bucket fell from a height.
The deceased has been identified as Shivakumar G.K (30). He was a resident of Soraba taluk in Shivamogga district.
The incident took place around 4:30 PM at a vacant site where a new well was being dug. A total of six workers were present at the site. Three workers, including Shivakumar, were working inside the well, which was about 30 feet deep.
During the work, soil was being lifted using a crane in an iron bucket. Suddenly, the bucket got detached from the crane hook. The bucket, filled with mud, fell directly on Shivakumar’s head from a height of about 30 feet.
He suffered severe injuries. The other two workers inside the well escaped with minor injuries.
Shivakumar was immediately taken to a private hospital in Deralakatte. However, he died on the way to the hospital.
The body has been sent for post-mortem examination. A case has been registered at the Ullal Police Station. Further investigation is in progress.

Shivakumar was married. He lived in a rented house in Tokkottu with his wife and two children. His son is three years old, and his daughter is one year old.
Reports say he had sent his wife and children to their native place just a day before the accident. He had also celebrated his younger daughter’s first birthday two weeks ago.

Violent Clash Erupts Over Mosque Dispute in Ullala
Ullala: A violent clash broke out between two groups over a dispute related to a mosque in Ullala’s Sajipanadu area.
According to reports, the incident took place near the Sajipa Padavu Thalemogaru Badriya Juma Masjid. Members of both groups attacked each other using knives, sticks, and iron rods.
After the clash near the mosque, some attackers reportedly went to a man’s house and assaulted him in front of women and children.
It is alleged that the mosque president was also involved in the incident.
The injured persons have been admitted to Bantwal Government Hospital for treatment.

Police have registered three cases, including complaint and counter-complaint, at the Bantwal Rural Police Station under the BNS and Arms Act.
Further investigation is underway.

Driver of Ullal City Municipal Council President Dies of Heart Attack
Ullal: Ashok Ullalbaail, the car driver of the Ullal City Municipal Council President and an active member of the Congress party, passed away due to a heart attack. He was 64 years old.
Ashok had been working as the driver for the Ullal City Municipal Council President. He was also a dedicated worker of the Congress party.
He is survived by his two children.

Speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly U. T. Khader, Mangaluru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) President Sadashiva Ullal, Ullal Block Congress President Ramesh Shetty Boliyar, and the President’s close aide Mansoor Manchil expressed their condolences.
Several party leaders and workers also expressed grief over his death.
