Car Collides with Electric Pole in Udupi; Driver Flee’s the Scene
Udupi: A car collided with an electric pole near the Manipal Police Station on Monday morning, leaving the driver fleeing the scene after the incident. The car, which was registered in Bengaluru, was speeding from Manipal towards Udupi when the driver lost control and crashed into the pole.
The accident caused significant damage to the electric pole, and the front of the car was severely damaged as well. According to reports, the vehicle was being driven alone, with the driver abandoning the car immediately after the crash. Authorities are yet to identify the driver, who reportedly ran from the scene before the police arrived.
Power supply was disrupted temporarily due to the damage to the electric pole, but repairs have since been initiated. The police are investigating the incident and are attempting to track down the driver based on the vehicle’s registration details

Young Bhajan Trainer Dies of Heart Attack in Brahmavar
Udupi: A 35-year-old bhajan trainer died of a heart attack in Brahmavar taluk of Udupi district.
The deceased has been identified as Prakash Kulal.The incident occurred at Naduru in Brahmavar.According to reports, Prakash returned home on Monday evening after completing a bhajan program.
He later went to sleep at his house.On Tuesday morning, a relative tried to call him.When he did not answer the call, suspicion arose.The relative then entered the house by removing a roof tile.Prakash was found dead while lying in his bed.Prakash Kulal was a well-known bhajan trainer.

He had taken part in many major bhajan programs, including Sankirtana Mandarti.He was known for his dedication to devotional singing.He provided bhajan training without expecting money or any other benefits.He spent most of his time in bhajan activities.
He is survived by his wife, child, and parents.

Tipper–Scooter Collision Claims One Life in Udupi
Udupi: A tragic road accident claimed the life of a scooter rider after a collision with a tipper truck on the morning of March 24 at Mall, Mulluru.
The deceased has been identified as Naveen Bajagoli (45). He was a welder by profession and was also known for rescuing snakes.
According to reports, Naveen was on his way to release a captured snake into the forest when the accident occurred. The impact of the collision was severe, and he died on the spot.

The pillion rider on the scooter sustained injuries and has been admitted to a hospital for treatment.
Karkala Rural Police visited the accident site and are conducting further investigation.

Young Man Drowns in Stream near Kundapur
Kundapur: A 32-year-old man died after drowning in a stream near Jadkal village in Udupi district.
The incident happened at the Hayyangaru stream. The victim has been identified as Sandeep Naik, a resident of Areshiruru in Golihole. He was working as an auto-rickshaw driver.
According to reports, Sandeep had gone to the stream for swimming with his friends on March 22. During the outing, he accidentally slipped into deeper water and drowned.
Sandeep was the son of hotel businessman Babanna from Golihole. He was unmarried.

He is survived by his parents and two brothers.
Local authorities have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
