Car Bursts Into Flames After Hitting Milk Tanker in Ramanagara

Ramanagara: A car went up in flames after it hit a milk tanker from behind near Sangabasavanadoddi village on the Bengaluru–Mysuru National Highway.

According to sources, a Renault Duster was travelling from Mysuru towards Bengaluru at high speed. Near Sangabasavanadoddi, the driver lost control of the vehicle and rammed into the rear side of a milk tanker moving ahead of it.

Soon after the collision, thick smoke began to rise from the car. Sensing danger, the passengers quickly stepped out and ran to safety. Within moments, the vehicle caught fire and was completely engulfed in flames.

Fire and emergency services personnel arrived at the spot and managed to extinguish the blaze. The car was reduced to ashes, while the tanker’s rear section was damaged in the impact.

Ramanagara Traffic Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.

Madikeri: In a tragic road accident, film and television actor Harish (40) lost his life on the spot in Kodagu district.

The accident happened late at night near Anekadu forest area in Kushalnagar taluk on National Highway 275. Harish was returning to his hometown Hoskote from Kushalnagar after finishing his work.

During the journey, his car crashed into a tanker that was parked on the roadside. The impact of the collision was very severe. The car was completely crushed in the accident. Harish died instantly due to the injuries.

Woman Attempts to Jump from 5th Floor of High Court with Newborn

Lucknow: A shocking incident took place in Lucknow where a woman tried to jump from the fifth floor of the High Court building along with her newborn baby.

According to reports, the woman was upset due to an ongoing divorce case. She was seen standing on the edge of the fifth floor while holding her infant in her arms. A video of the incident shows people trying to calm her down and stop her from taking the extreme step.

Police officials and others present at the spot immediately intervened. A Sub-Inspector (SI) acted bravely and managed to reach the woman in time. He safely pulled her and the baby away from danger, saving both their lives.

She was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on April 11. She was suffering from severe breathing problems and chest pain. Doctors kept her in the intensive care unit and gave her treatment.

However, she did not respond to the treatment. She died on Sunday afternoon. Hospital doctor Dr. Prateek Sandhani confirmed the news. He said that she died due to multiple organ failure.
