BTS’ J-Hope Hints at New Track ‘Mona Lisa’ During ‘Hope on Stage’ Tour

After completing his military service, J-hope from BTS launched his highly anticipated tour at the end of February. The ‘Hope on the Stage’ tour will visit major cities across Asia and North America, kicking off with a performance in Seoul, South Korea. During his Brooklyn show on March 13, he debuted his unreleased song ‘Mona Lisa.’ Now, the K-pop star is set to officially release a new digital single titled “Mona Lisa.” On March 15, J-hope announced the release date along with a concept teaser, just two weeks after dropping his first single “Sweet Dreams,” featuring Miguel, from his upcoming album.

On March 15, BIGHIT MUSIC revealed that J-hope’s next track “Mona Lisa” will be available on March 21. The agency shared a statement saying, “‘MONA LISA’ is a hip-hop and R&B track that playfully compares an enchanting person to the iconic painting, which has mesmerized audiences for centuries. In this song, J-hope emphasizes that true charm comes from unique qualities rather than just external beauty.”

During his Brooklyn concert, the K-pop idol performed the unreleased track and shared the heartfelt meaning behind ‘Mona Lisa’ with fans. He expressed, “This song is my way of showing love; simply put, you are my masterpiece. My own Mona Lisa.”

The ‘Hope on Stage’ tour began in Seoul from February 28 to March 2. Following the shows in Brooklyn on March 13 and 14, J-hope will continue his performances across North America, Latin America, and Asia. Upcoming stops include Chicago on March 17-18 and Mexico City on March 22-23, followed by performances in San Antonio, Oakland, and Los Angeles. Afterward, he will head to Asia for concerts in Manila, Singapore, Jakarta, Bangkok, Saitama, Macau, Taipei, and Osaka.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay retained the Perambur constituency after winning from two seats in the Assembly election and resigned from the Tiruchchi East seat.

Reports now suggest that popular actor, director, and choreographer Raghava Lawrence may contest the upcoming by-election from Tiruchchi East on behalf of Vijay’s TVK party. The news has been widely discussed on social media.

Raghava Lawrence is known for his charitable work and support for differently-abled people, orphaned children, and senior citizens. His strong public image is seen as an advantage if he enters the race.

Earlier, rumours claimed that actress Trisha Krishnan would contest from the constituency, but those reports were later dismissed.
