Bombay HC to Review PIL Regarding Sushant Singh Rajput’s Death; Actor’s Father Optimistic About Achieving ‘Justice’

In a conversation with ANI on Saturday, Sushant’s father, KK Singh, expressed his hope for justice for his son under the new Maharashtra government. He stated, “I trust that whatever emerges from the court will be just, and I hope for a timely resolution. We looked to the CBI for justice, but their progress was slow. Now that the matter is in court, I am hopeful. The current government appears positive, and I believe any action taken by the Chief Minister will be beneficial. There is a lot of hope,” he shared with ANI.
KK Singh described the emotional toll of losing his son at such a young age, insisting that Sushant could not have died by suicide. “The grief from losing an only son is profound, and one can only imagine the pain of a father. We have heard various media reports concerning MLA Aditya Thackeray, but the truth remains unclear. This matter will ultimately be resolved in court, and the true circumstances will emerge. I firmly believe Sushant did not take his own life,” he stated.

Sushant Singh Rajput, 34, was found dead at his residence in Bandra on June 14, 2020. This incident sparked widespread controversy, leading to the investigation being handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation. His postmortem report indicated asphyxia as the cause of death, and the examination took place at Mumbai’s Cooper Hospital.
Nearly five years after Sushant’s demise, the Bombay High Court will hear the PIL filed by Rashid Khan Pathan, President of the Supreme Court and High Court Litigants Association of India.
Sushant began his career in theater after leaving engineering college, later entering the television industry in 2008 and eventually establishing himself as a prominent Bollywood actor. He made his film debut with ‘Kai Po Che’ and garnered immense popularity from his standout role in ‘M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story’. His last major film was ‘Chhichhore’, released in 2019, which became a blockbuster. He was last seen in Mukesh Chhabra’s ‘Dil Bechara’ alongside Sanjana Sanghi, an official remake of ‘The Fault in Our Stars’, which premiered on OTT a month after his passing.

Sindoor Ki Lalkaar: Manoj Tiwari Honors the Armed Forces with His New Patriotic Anthem

Tiwari announced the song on Instagram, showcasing a compelling poster featuring himself with Colonel Sophia Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh. In his post, he expressed, “Sindoor Ki Lalkaar will be available soon on the official YouTube channel of Mridul Manthan. This song is dedicated to our Indian Army and celebrates their heroic actions during Operation Sindoor. Jai Hind.”
The impetus for this musical homage began on April 22, when a terror attack in Pahalgam resulted in the deaths of 26 tourists, including a Nepali national. This tragic incident, which was reportedly backed by Pakistan-based terrorist organizations, prompted a swift response from the Indian security forces.
India’s counteraction took shape as “Operation Sindoor,” a complex and covert military operation initiated in the early hours of May 7. At exactly 1:44 AM, the Indian armed forces conducted a rapid and precise strike on nine terrorist bases deep within Pakistani territory.
The offensive purportedly eliminated more than 150 terrorists, including key targets such as Abdul Rauf Azhar, a notorious individual implicated in numerous attacks and the beheading of a Jewish journalist.
The precision of the strikes instigated immediate panic in Pakistan, leading to retaliatory actions, including drone surveillance and heavy shelling along the border. Pakistani forces targeted civilian areas and religious sites, raising alarms over escalating tensions between the two nuclear-armed nations.
Nevertheless, India adopted a measured and strategic approach. The operation demonstrated effective collaboration among the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force, highlighting India’s advancing military capabilities. Air defense systems, including the S-400 missile system, were employed to intercept incoming threats, one of which was Pakistan’s Fatah missile aimed at New Delhi.
India also deployed BrahMos missiles with significant impact, destroying crucial Pakistani military sites. Among the 11 army bases targeted was the controversial Kirana Hills site, speculated by some to be a nuclear facility. Although this raised concerns of a potential nuclear incident, the International Atomic Energy Agency later confirmed that there was no radioactive leakage.
By May 10, diplomatic efforts led to a temporary ceasefire agreement, although the suspension of the Indus Waters Treaty remained in effect. Concurrently, the elite Rashtriya Rifles unit of the Indian Army continues its anti-terror operations within Jammu and Kashmir, successfully neutralizing six terrorists under Operations Kellar and Nader.

Bob Dylan Delights Fans with Rare ‘Mr. Tambourine Man’ Performance After 15 Years

Sure! Here’s a rewritten version of the content:
—
This classic track, originally released in 1965, made a triumphant return to his setlist, evoking a wave of nostalgia among fans who never expected to hear it live again.
But that wasn’t all; as the night drew to a close, the folk legend offered a touching cover of The Pogues’ “A Rainy Night in Soho,” concluding a meticulously crafted 13-song set.
The evening was marked by rarity, as Dylan also performed “Forgetful Heart,” a song he hadn’t played since 2015. Devoted fans were treated to a set rich with deep cuts and unexpected gems—a hallmark of Dylan’s live shows.
This latest appearance follows a notable year for Dylan, who made headlines earlier in 2024 for an extraordinary memorabilia auction hosted by Julien’s Auctions in Nashville. Over 60 items from his illustrious career—including personal photographs, handwritten lyrics, musical instruments, and original artwork—were up for bids, totaling nearly $1.5 million.
One standout item was a pair of yellow sheets featuring typewritten lyrics for “Mr. Tambourine Man,” adorned with Dylan’s handwritten notes and edits, which sold for an impressive $508,000.

The backstory of those lyric sheets is as poetic as the song itself. They had been tucked away in the archives of the late Al Aronowitz, a music journalist who claimed that Dylan crafted the original drafts of “Mr. Tambourine Man” in his Berkeley Heights, New Jersey, home. According to Aronowitz, Dylan composed the song on a portable typewriter, smoking intensely while repeatedly listening to Marvin Gaye’s “Can I Get a Witness?”
Myles Aronowitz, Al’s son, discovered the typewritten pages while sifting through 250 boxes of his father’s belongings, which included crumpled drafts nearly lost to time. “He never threw anything away,” Myles told The New York Times.
Another highlight from the auction was a 1968 oil painting by Dylan himself, which garnered $260,000. A custom 1983 Fender guitar, once used by the “Like a Rolling Stone” singer, sold for $225,000. Out of all the items auctioned, just 10 went unsold.
