Bihar CM: Successful Candidates of BPSC TRE 3.0 to Receive Letters Soon
In addition to the 66,800 candidates, there are also 42,918 teachers who have successfully passed the Headmaster Exam and are awaiting their appointment letters.
Candidates who have cleared both examinations have been waiting for their appointment letters for several months, prompting them to hold demonstrations in Patna advocating for expedited recruitment. Their protests, however, were largely overshadowed by those of BPSC candidates demanding a re-examination of the BPSC 70th Preliminary Test (PT).
The Chief Minister made this announcement after formally handing out provisional appointment letters to special teachers who passed the Competency Examination-2. In total, 65,716 contract teachers have qualified through this examination to transition to regular government positions, and they will receive their letters through district education offices.
Nitish Kumar noted that over 217,000 applicants have been recruited as government teachers, and 253,961 individuals have achieved government teacher status after passing the Competency Examinations. With the inclusion of the 66,800 teachers and 42,918 headmasters, the total number of government teachers is set to exceed 580,000.
He urged the teachers to provide quality education to students, helping them become successful professionals and responsible citizens. Furthermore, he instructed the Education Minister to monitor their performance closely.
The Chief Minister emphasized the government’s commitment to uplifting all segments of society, including Hindus, Muslims, forward and backward classes, Dalits, and Mahadalits, with a particular focus on promoting women’s advancement. He highlighted the increasing participation of women in various fields, noting that a significant number have also been appointed as teachers.

22-Year-Old Woman Killed After Truck Runs Over Her in Jaipur
Jaipur: A 22-year-old woman died after a truck ran over her in Jaipur, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Liga Jimo, a native of Nagaland. She had been living in a rented house in Malviya Nagar for the past two years. She was working at a beauty parlour in the area.
The incident took place on Monday night. Liga Jimo was travelling to Malviya Nagar on a bike taxi.
According to police, the bike lost control near Gopalpura Pulia. As a result, the woman fell onto the road.

At the same time, a truck carrying gas cylinders came from behind and ran over her. She died on the spot due to the impact.
Police shifted the body to the mortuary for post-mortem examination. Further investigation is underway

Husband Revives Wife After Doctors Declare Her Dead
Mangaluru: A woman who was declared dead by doctors survived after her husband performed CPR for 35 minutes. The inspiring story of Komal Jamwal was shared on the Instagram page of Humans of Bombay and has gone viral.
The incident happened in March 2012 when Komal was 33 years old. She suddenly developed severe leg weakness and collapsed. Doctors at a hospital in Jammu later diagnosed her with Guillain-Barré Syndrome, a rare condition that affects the nerves.
During treatment, she suffered repeated cardiac arrests and doctors declared her dead. However, her husband refused to give up and performed CPR for 35 minutes until her heart started beating again.

She was later treated in Ludhiana and slowly recovered. Now 14 years later, the 47-year-old woman can walk again and says she is grateful to her husband and family for saving her life.

Vallabh Maheshwari Dies in BMW Crash on Delhi–Mumbai Expressway
New Delhi: Vallabh Maheshwari, Managing Director of Shakun Group, died in a road accident on Sunday. He was 62 years old.
The accident happened on the Delhi–Mumbai Expressway near Alwar. Maheshwari was travelling from Jaipur to Mathura.
Police said the BMW car was driven by his driver. The driver lost control of the vehicle. The car broke through roadside barricades and crashed into the median wall.
The impact of the crash badly damaged the luxury car.
Maheshwari and his driver were taken to a nearby hospital. Doctors declared Maheshwari dead. The driver survived without injuries.

Police suspect that high speed or a technical problem may have caused the accident. Further investigation is ongoing.
