Attack on Decoration Shed; Workers Assaulted Brutally
Ullal: A shocking incident occurred last night in the Ullal police station limits, located on the outskirts of Mangaluru city, where a group of six masked assailants arrived in an Innova car and brutally attacked workers from Kolkata engaged in decoration work.
The severely injured workers have been admitted to a private hospital in the city for treatment. The incident took place in the Madyar area of Ullal, where a decoration company stores its materials. The workers from other states live in the godown and earn their livelihood by working on decorations for various events.
Late at night, the masked attackers stormed the premises and assaulted the workers with rods and weapons before escaping. It has been confirmed that the attackers were fluent in Tulu, suggesting they were locals. The police suspect that the attack may have been driven by prior enmity.
CCTV cameras installed at the location captured footage of the attackers fleeing after the assault. Ullal police have registered an FIR and launched an investigation into the case.
This incident has left the local community in a state of fear, and residents have urged the police to take strict legal action against the culprits.

Adult Content Creators Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison goes Viral
Ankara: An Istanbul court has sentenced 27 adult content creators and adult film performers to 10 years in prison each for allegedly earning money by selling explicit videos on online platforms.

The action was taken as part of an ongoing investigation into cyber-related crimes and the online distribution of sexually explicit content. Authorities said the individuals used adult websites and subscription-based platforms to share and sell explicit material.
According to the court, the accused earned money by uploading their own explicit videos and offering other adult-oriented services through online platforms. Investigators found that they continued their activities despite restrictions imposed by the government.

Turkey blocked a major adult content website in 2023. However, officials said some creators bypassed the restrictions by changing their IP addresses and using other online platforms to continue sharing content and generating income.
The investigation began after the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office received several complaints regarding the online activities. Following the inquiry and court proceedings, the court sentenced all 27 individuals to 10 years in prison.
