Meanwhile, social media influencer Apoorva Makhija, who is also accused of making inappropriate comments on the show, appeared at the Khar Police Station in Mumbai for questioning today.

“I shouldn’t have said what I said on India’s Got Latent. I’m sorry,” tweeted Ranveer Allahbadia on February 10, 2025.

After her investigation, Makhija was seen leaving the police station, while the lawyer representing stand-up comedian Samay Raina also arrived for necessary legal proceedings, as the studio where the show was filmed falls under the Khar Police jurisdiction. Ashish Chanchalani provided his statement at the Khar Police Station today as well.

On Tuesday, the Mumbai Police visited Allahbadia’s residence following the backlash from his comments on ‘India’s Got Latent,’ which airs on YouTube. His remarks prompted outrage among the Indian public, garnering reactions from various industry bodies, including the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA).
