The 2018 movie ‘A Simple Favour,’ featuring Blake Lively and Anna Kendrick, proved to be a box office hit. The story centers around the enigmatic PR executive, Emily Nesson (Lively), and a vlogger mom, Stephanie Smothers (Kendrick). Recently, the creators of ‘Another Simple Favour’ released a teaser for the much-anticipated sequel. The preview begins at the launch of Stephanie’s book, where she narrates her experiences with Emily. For those unacquainted with the previous film, Emily was responsible for the murder of her twin sister, a fact that Stephanie discovered, leading to Emily’s imprisonment. In a surprising twist, Emily is now out of prison and extends a lavish wedding invitation to Stephanie in Italy. However, upon deciding to attend, Stephanie cannot shake the feeling that something is amiss. Sensing her unease, Emily retorts, “Do you think I invited you to get revenge? In addition to Lively and Kendrick, the film features returning cast members Henry Golding, Andrew Rannells, Bashir Salahuddin, Joshua Satine, Ian Ho, and Kelly McCormack. New additions to the cast include Michele Morrone, Elena Sofia Ricci, Elizabeth Perkins, Alex Newell, and Allison Janney. Paul Feig, who directed the original, also helms the sequel, with the screenplay written by Jessica Sharzer and Laeta Kalogridis. Feig and Laura Fischer are producing ‘Another Simple Favour,’ while John Schwartzman handles cinematography and Theodore Shapiro provides the musical score.
