In a post on his blog, Bachchan shared that he struggles with remembering his lines and requests filmmakers to allow him to correct any mistakes he feels he has made.

In his blog, Amitabh Bachchan expressed, “I find myself attending numerous meetings for upcoming projects, which can be quite overwhelming. It’s a challenge to decide what to accept, what to decline, and what to graciously refuse. Often, these discussions revolve around the film industry, its workings, and its current state—topics I’m not well-versed in at all. My primary concern has always been what roles are offered to me and whether I will be able to fulfill them. Beyond that, everything else seems like a vague blur, including production, costs, marketing, and exhibition—it’s all just an unclear haze.”

Reflecting on his challenges, Big B noted, “With age, the struggle isn’t just about memorizing lines. There are various age-related issues that must be managed to deliver the content as required. Then, at home, I often realize the numerous mistakes I’ve made and think of ways to correct them. I sometimes find myself making midnight calls to directors for another chance to improve or rectify my errors.”

Continuing his thoughts, the iconic actor pondered the transient nature of fame. “Another day has passed, another writing task is complete, and another meeting with my fans has commenced, filled with apprehension. Will they still be there? There’s a sense of dwindling enthusiasm among well-wishers. It’s inevitable—careers in this profession wane with time. When the industry no longer supports talent and performance, people move on. When an actor can no longer connect with the audience, they fade away. This is a cycle that affects everyone, regardless of what is said to the contrary; the cycle of life continues unabated.”
