Allu Arjun Set to Take Over Salman Khan’s Role in Atlee’s ₹500 Crore Film: Report

Recent reports indicate that Allu Arjun, the star of ‘Pushpa,’ is set to collaborate with acclaimed director Atlee, known for his work on ‘Jawan.’ Initially, it was rumored that Atlee would team up with Bollywood icon Salman Khan for a major project worth 500 crores. However, it seems that Allu Arjun has now taken Salman Khan’s place for Atlee’s upcoming film.

According to a report by 123Telugu, Atlee has requested 100 crores for this project with Arjun. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding either the film or the fee. Additionally, Peeping Moon cited a source close to the situation, stating, “While the paperwork is still ongoing, the ‘Pushpa 2’ star has given a preliminary green light to the project and is expected to prioritize it as his next endeavor. The shooting schedule and other logistical details are being sorted out, with Atlee aiming to begin pre-production by April or May.”

Earlier, it was suggested that Allu Arjun would resume work with director Trivikram Srinivas after the tremendous success of ‘Pushpa 2.’ However, this new collaboration may shift his schedule and potentially cause delays in their work together. Allu Arjun has consistently expressed his desire to work with Atlee, making this project particularly exciting.

Reports also indicate that Janhvi Kapoor has been approached to play the female lead opposite Allu Arjun in this highly anticipated film. Although unconfirmed, her casting would be notable, especially after her recent success with the song “Chuttamalle” from Jr NTR’s ‘Devara.’ Currently, Kapoor is occupied with another major project, where she will star alongside Ram Charan in a film directed by Buchi Babu Sana.

On a related note, Atlee recently produced the film ‘Baby John,’ featuring Varun Dhawan, Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jackie Shroff. Despite the pre-release buzz, the film struggled to perform at the box office.
